Championship

World Championship of Young Roofers (under 25 years old) are being held since 1988. Since 2010 World Championship were annual, and from 2010 they are held every second year, together with the  IFD annual congress. The event has usually been take place in Europe, except in 2005, wehere 18th World Championship took place in South- African Republic, in Capetown. Previous competition took place in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 2010, the next, 24th competition will take place 2012 in Luzern, Switzerland. The competition will cover 3 areas of roofing: flat roof, tile roof and metal roof. The materials being used will be determined by organiser.
